Last Updated: November 8, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Docy Switch, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.
These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Docy Switch (powered by Slingster) regarding your use of our document processing platform.
2. Description of Services
Docy Switch provides free online document conversion and PDF management tools. Services include, but are not limited to: PDF conversion, compression, merging, splitting, editing, protection, OCR, and document organization.
Some tools process documents entirely in your browser (client-side), while others use server-side processing via our infrastructure providers.
3. Free Usage
Docy Switch is provided as a free document utility service. Core features are available without charge, registration, or subscription.
We reserve the right to introduce optional paid features in the future. Any such changes will be clearly communicated and will not affect the availability of existing free tools.
4. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for all documents you upload and process through Docy Switch. You must ensure that you have the legal right to access, modify, and process any document you upload.
You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.
5. Prohibited Activities
You may not use Docy Switch to:
- Process documents you do not have authorization to access or modify.
- Upload illegal content, malicious files, or malware.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the service.
- Interfere with or disrupt the service, servers, or networks.
- Use automated systems to access the service at scale without permission.
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international law.
6. Intellectual Property
Docy Switch and its original content, features, and functionality (excluding user-uploaded documents) are owned by Slingster and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain all rights to documents you upload. By uploading documents, you grant us a limited, temporary license to process those documents solely for the purpose of providing the requested service.
7. Third-Party Services
Docy Switch uses third-party infrastructure providers including Cloudinary (file storage), Vercel (hosting), and MongoDB Atlas (database). Your use of Docy Switch is also subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.
8. Service Availability
We strive to keep Docy Switch available but do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, or circumstances beyond our control.
Conversion quality and supported formats may vary. We do not guarantee specific output fidelity for all document types.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Docy Switch is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the service will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, secure, or free from errors. We do not warrant the accuracy or reliability of conversion results.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Slingster and Docy Switch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of or inability to use the service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service (which is zero for free usage).
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
